Unit 8.

Today in class we learned about Power (watts). Power is the rate of work. The formula for Power is Power = change in energy / change in time or Power = work / time. The unit for power is watts (joules/secs). After learning about power we did a lab practical using our knowledge of energy to figure out the distance our pendulum/water balloon pushed a box. We also did some worksheets that help us to figure out how to graph energy, we learned that total energy is constant when graphing energy.
This picture reminded me of what we learned today in class. Whenever I turn on my tv I press the "power" button
